As predicted by us below, CIC declared it’s 57th Draw today with 3,749 Invitations and a CRS cut off of 441. As per our prediction, it was supposed to rise again but after this draw. But CIC skipped the week’s draw and took the scores higher again today.
Well, just like our fortnightly ritual, the day is here when CIC is expected to release it’s 57th Express Entry draw and this time not hundreds, but thousands of applicants are having hard time waiting for the draw stats to release. And why not if we look at the following numbers in the past 2 months of CIC history –
Jan 4th – 468 Points – 2,902 Invitiations
Jan 11th – 459 points – 3,334 Invitations
Jan 25th – 453 Points – 3,508 Invitations
Feb 8th – 447 Points – 3,644 Invitations
Feb 22nd – 441 Points, 3611 Invitations
March 1st – 434 Points – 3,884 Invitations
Did you notice this unimaginable drop, if someone said this in Last November or December that, this will happen in Jan- Feb 2017, no one would have beleived it, but oh well we have been there now.
In a drop of 34 points, 20,783 candidates were invited i.e 600+ Invitations for every 1 point drop, quite mind boggling.
The big question is whether this trend will continue in the CIC 57th Draw expected to happen today on 15th March 2017. Well, according to the trend, circumstances and basis of our previous predictions, OOPNP believes this trend will continue.
We predict a score of 427 (+/- 3 points) with expected Invitations around 3,500- 3,750. OOPNP also believes that this or the next is possibly going to be last low score draws before the scores go high again to settle somewhere in 440-450 bracket, before falling down further around May 2017.
The reason for this belief is CIC officials have been overwhelmed by the number of applications pouring in their portal for approvals. We believe to make sure things move at a manageable pace, they may release some higher point draws inviting less members before moving back to the same trend.
Provincial Nominations are trying to keep up with CIC score updates, Ontario has made changes to its application deadline process to manage work loads and to make sure they are able to accept applications well on time.
Canada Immigration is going through numerous changes at present with the express entry application processing down around 90-150 days for FSWP category and similar time for CEC, it is the right time to initiate your Canadian Immigration process.
